The Plan

(1) Drive the Beti Bus to Vancouver, British Columbia.

(2) Obtain marriage license.

(3) Hire marriage commissioner to perform little ceremony on the beach.

(4) Exchange a couple of "I-do's".

 

(5) Race the BC Bike Race for honeymoon, June 27-July 3, 2010.

(6) Hope we don't kill each other along the way.

(7) Drive Beti Bus back to Denver. 

(8) Have a big party upon our return.

(9) Live happily ever after.

24 MoCP '09

The 24 Minutes of City Park was a success for its inaugural run.  

A funny thing happens when you give someone a cruiser bike and only 24 minutes to ride it--

laughter, costumes, and generally good cheer.  

The world needs more of that.  

Come out for the 2nd Annual 24 MoCP 2010!!

My Beti's sported a team, the Boozer Beti's. 

The Chaingang team won with the most laps and oldest Cruiser bike.

Most of April '09 is a blur.  Between spending every free hour of every day working on Chelsea's house, we finally got it finished and rented!  The last bit of work was actually done by Root Landscape.  They worked a small miracle right after Jesus appeared in the stone grave I built in the back (I think that counts as two miracles).

We finally got a dirt ride in after enduring 5 weeks of snowy, cold weekends.  

We met new teammate (old friend) Kelli in the Colo Spgs for an RR (redneck ride).  We met some really nice fellow riders enjoying Busch Light on the trail (cheaper than GU).

With some reserved endurance fitness from February, I finally raced a bike again.  

Here's me getting receiving a water bottle feed during a 50 miler.  

Natalie and I get easily distracted on podiums.  I was contemplating a complex algebraic formula to be in first, while Natalie was frozen in the same position, starring at the camera.  At least we look like we are on the same team.
